6th Circ. Unravels Ford F-150 Faulty Brakes Class
The Sixth Circuit on Thursday dismantled a class action accusing Ford of selling F-150 trucks with faulty brakes, instructing a Michigan federal court to go back and more thoroughly analyze whether the drivers had common enough claims concerning a purported brake cylinder defect in the trucks.

Ford Can't Escape Class Suit Over Trucks' Faulty Brakes
A Michigan federal judge won't let Ford Motor Co. notch an early win in a class action alleging it sold F-150 trucks with faulty brakes, saying there's evidence that it was aware of the alleged defect earlier than it contends and that it knew that a 2016 fix didn't resolve the issue.

Ford Ditches Warranty Claims In Defective-Brake Suit
A Michigan federal judge on Wednesday dismissed half the claims in a proposed class action accusing Ford Motor Co. of selling trucks with defective brakes, finding that replacing a defective part with the same part is not a breach of the company's warranty.
