Battle Born Munitions can't sue Dick's for more than $5 million, the amount the ammo maker says it lost when Dick's caused a financial chain reaction beginning with a delayed shipment of store-branded bullets and ending in a cratered helicopter deal with Lebanon, a Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Friday.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. has asked a Pennsylvania federal court to dismiss most of a munitions company’s lawsuit against the retailer, along with the company’s request for profits lost when Dick’s delay in taking a shipment of ammo allegedly scuttled a deal to sell helicopters to Lebanon.
