DOL Says Privacy Concerns Justify Injury Reporting Change
The U.S. Department of Labor told a D.C. federal judge Friday that it had legitimate reasons to roll back a requirement for larger employers to file electronic reports of workplace injuries, arguing that lawsuits by six states and a coalition of public health groups challenging the change should be dismissed.
