An Oregon federal judge has ruled that the Swiss arm of agribusiness giant Bunge Ltd. should be able to collect a $2.1 million award against a Singaporean shipping company that never paid to use ships that it hired.

Bunge SA asked an Oregon federal court Wednesday to confirm a roughly $2.1 million arbitration award stemming from claims that a Singaporean shipping company stiffed the Swiss agriculture company on payments under a ship-hiring agreement.
