Instagram and parent company Facebook told a California federal judge on Wednesday that they have agreed to resolve a lawsuit they brought accusing a New Zealand-based company of conspiring to sell automated Instagram engagement.

Facebook and Instagram are fighting New Zealand-based Social Media Series Ltd.'s bid to dismiss a $10 million suit the social media giants lodged against it for allegedly selling fake "likes," saying SMS consented to the jurisdiction of California courts and therefore the case doesn't belong in New Zealand.
