Hotel Chain Blames Ga. Atty, Others For Sex Trafficking
A hotel chain said if a jury finds it was complicit in sex trafficking, then it must also distribute blame to more than three dozen nonparties to the suit, including social media companies, police departments, a strip club and an attorney for allowing an unnamed woman to be forced into commercial sex.

Hotel Cos. Urge 11th Circ. To Sink Sex Trafficking Cases
Several hotel parent companies have asked the Eleventh Circuit to toss an appeal by victims of sex trafficking for alleged crimes on their properties, saying a lower court properly held that the complaints against them were merely "shotgun pleadings" that don't show they assisted the traffickers.

Several parent and management companies of Atlanta hotels aren't likely to duck claims of complicity brought by victims of sex trafficking, despite their argument they knew nothing of the alleged crime on their properties, a federal judge said Wednesday.
