Benihana Sinks Class Cert. Bid In Imitation Crab Suit
A California federal judge on Tuesday denied class certification to a restaurant-goer who alleged that the hibachi chain Benihana misled him into believing its sushi rolls contained real crab when they actually contained imitation crab, ruling that the proposed class failed to present a viable damages model.

Benihana Tries To Scuttle Crab Meat False Ad Suit
Hibachi chain Benihana Inc. is asking a California federal court to throw out claims that it misled customers into thinking its sushi rolls contain real crab meat, saying the claims "defy common sense" because the menu states plainly that they use imitation meat.
