DOJ Taps Kirkland Atty To Monitor Live Nation Compliance
The U.S. Department of Justice moved Tuesday to name Kirkland & Ellis LLP partner Mark Filip as monitoring trustee responsible for ensuring Live Nation and Ticketmaster abide by their merger approval deal, which was tweaked after the companies allegedly violated the settlement repeatedly.

Feds Say Live Nation Bullied Venues After Ticketmaster Tie-Up
In violation of a decade-old merger agreement with federal regulators, Live Nation blacklisted venues that opted to use a Ticketmaster rival for their events and threatened to go "nuclear" on a venue if it sought ticket services elsewhere, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
