Fla. Botanic Garden Wants UK Artist's Copyright Suit Tossed
Attorneys for a Miami-area botanical garden told a Florida federal court Thursday that a British artist's copyright infringement suit over an illuminated nighttime display at the garden should be dismissed because he fails to assert any copyrightable feature other than lightbulbs in the displays.

British Artist Says Fla. Garden Ripped Off His Light Sculptures
A British artist sued a botanical garden near Miami on Wednesday for allegedly using unauthorized knockoff light fixtures to create an illuminated nighttime display that the artist says is an imitation of his original works.
