Great American Insurance Co. urged an Ohio federal judge Thursday to reject a magistrate judge's view to let it stay in a $1.9 million suit brought by Millennium Hilton New York hotel's owner, saying that the hotel would get "a windfall" if the court approves its "theory" and the magistrate judge's "erroneous" opinion.

The operator of the Millennium Hilton New York on Thursday hit Great American Insurance Co. with a breach of contract suit accusing it of wrongfully withholding coverage on a $1.9 million claim stemming from a booking scam, according to a complaint filed in Ohio federal court.
