A Michigan federal judge has denied a wholesale retailer's dismissal bid in a trademark suit accusing it of selling counterfeit vaping products, saying the court has jurisdiction because the retailer "actively and knowingly" sells its products directly to Michigan residents through its website.

An e-cigarette retailer has told a Michigan federal court that an Illinois vape distributor is selling counterfeit copies of its signature line of products, flouting a cease-and-desist letter and unfairly piggybacking off consumer loyalty to the Mr. Vapor brand.
