Ford Motor Co. is entitled to damages against remote diagnostic company AirPro for violating its software license agreement, a Michigan federal judge ruled Tuesday, saying it was clear AirPro used the license incorrectly by downloading it onto multiple devices.

Mich. Judge Unsure Ford Can Get Damages In License Breach
A Michigan federal judge on Thursday suggested Ford might not be able to recover damages from a remote diagnostic company for alleged violations of a software license agreement, saying he didn't see how Ford or its customers had lost anything from the claimed contract breach.
