A federal prosecutor told jurors Monday that four Florida men were part of a fake online church that used the First Amendment as justification to distribute an unregulated product claimed as a COVID-19 cure that was essentially industrial bleach that made people sick.

Judge Tells Fla. 'Church' To Stop Selling COVID-19 'Cure'
A Florida federal judge on Friday ordered a "nonreligious church" to immediately stop selling its "Miracle Mineral Solution" after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration sought an injunction to halt the sale of the concoction the church claims can cure COVID-19, Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis and other diseases.
