A Texas federal judge tossed a lawsuit claiming a higher education services company wouldn't promote two Black workers because of their race and fired them after doling out unfair discipline, ruling that the workers failed to put forward solid evidence to show they were unfairly targeted.

An online higher education services company represented by Greenberg Traurig must be sanctioned after it filed a baseless, long-winded attack in a race bias suit, two Black former workers told a Texas federal court, saying the company has shown a pattern of flouting court rules.
