A Pennsylvania federal judge on Wednesday morning appeared to throw cold water on GOP-backed claims aimed at invalidating a batch of mail-in ballots in a suburban Philadelphia county where voters were contacted to cure procedural defects including missing secrecy envelopes or signatures.
Republican congressional candidates filed suit in Pennsylvania state and federal courts on Tuesday alleging that state guidance and a suburban Philadelphia county following that guidance were improperly giving voters an opportunity to correct errors on more than a thousand mail-in ballots received prior to Election Day.
