A Texas federal judge has tossed Canopy Growth Corp.'s claims against GW Pharmaceuticals PLC units for allegedly infringing its patented extraction process to make the flagship CBD drug Epidiolex, after the parties agreed that Canopy couldn't prevail on the issue of infringement.

GW Pharmaceuticals has asked a Texas federal court to toss a patent suit brought by Canadian cannabis company Canopy Growth over the flagship CBD drug Epidiolex, arguing that the court has no jurisdiction because the pharmaceutical company does not have enough of a presence in Texas.
