Federal jurors in Florida have ordered a Chinese circuit board manufacturer to pay its U.S. distributor nearly $7.6 million in damages after hearing testimony that the manufacturer exploited its partner once it hit rough financial straits.

A Chinese-based manufacturer took advantage of a strategic partnership with a Florida circuit board company and refuses to repay $11 million that it received for extra charges, overpayments and fees incurred as a result of late shipments, an attorney argued to a Florida federal jury on Monday.
