Qualcomm Dodges Investor's Suit Over Board Diversity
A derivative investor suit that accuses Qualcomm Inc. of breaking promises to diversify its all-white board is too vague, relies on inactionable puffery and doesn't properly allege that some statements in question were misleading, a Delaware federal judge said Monday while dismissing all the claims, some without prejudice.

Qualcomm has failed to foster diversity among its top brass and throughout the company, claims a proposed class of investors suing the tech behemoth Friday in California federal court, saying that despite the company's statements in favor of diversity and inclusion, not a single Black director sits on the board.
