LG has urged a Texas federal judge to reject a new-trial bid after a jury found certain patents related to finding lost or stolen devices invalid, saying the patent holder's "kitchen-sink motion" aims to have the jury's "carefully considered verdict thrown out based on a litany of untimely and meritless arguments."

The owner of patents related to finding lost or stolen devices is asking U.S. District Judge Alan Albright to grant her a new trial after a Texas federal jury found the patents invalid and not infringed by LG Electronics.
