Nashville Eateries, Workers Get OK For $1.4M Tip Suit Deal
A $1.4 million settlement between a group of Nashville restaurants and workers claiming unpaid tips and wages can go forward, a Tennessee federal judge ruled Tuesday, saying the deal is fair and reasonable.

Restaurants Can't Pull Payroll Provider Into Tip Credit Suit
A group of Nashville restaurants can't pull the company they contracted for payroll processing services into a server's Fair Labor Standards Act minimum and overtime wage suit as a co-defendant, a Tennessee federal court ruled, because the payroll processor was not an employer.
