Fla. Applebee's Settles EEOC Suit Over Racist, Anti-Gay Slurs
The owners of a Florida Applebee's franchise will dish out $100,000 to settle a lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging a gay Black cook was forced to quit for complaining about racism and homophobia, the agency announced in a news release.
