A New York federal judge has awarded more than $500,000 in attorney fees to Google, represented by King & Spalding LLP, based on previously imposed sanctions in the tech giant's litigation accusing Russian nationals of creating a botnet to steal information from more than a million computers.

A New York federal judge entered a default judgment for Google in its suit against two Russian nationals who allegedly created a botnet to infiltrate more than a million computers and steal users' account information, sanctioning the men and their attorney for their "scheme" to mislead the court and resist discovery.
