The creator of SweetWater Brewing Co.'s trout logos, who asked for $31 million to be held in a trust while his content ownership rights are litigated, has pushed back against the company's claim that it bought the artwork 26 years ago for $500.

SweetWater Brewing Co. has filed a suit against the artist behind its rainbow trout logos who claimed he is owed $31 million for the continued use of the designs, asking the court to find the company isn't infringing any of the artist's rights by using the designs.
