A Louisiana federal judge said Monday he wouldn't reconsider a restaurant business' bid for pandemic insurance coverage in light of a recent state supreme court decision in favor of insurers in the closely watched Cajun Conti virus suit.

A Louisiana federal judge dismissed a COVID-19 coverage suit from the operator of several New Orleans restaurants, bars and event venues, finding that the Fifth Circuit already found that pandemic-related damages cannot constitute covered physical damage.
