Harley-Davidson Motor Company settled with an insurer, agreeing to end its Texas federal suit Friday seeking coverage for an underlying $6 million case brought by a biker who was injured when his motorcycle caught fire.

A Chubb unit must defend and indemnify Harley-Davidson in an underlying suit involving a motorcycle fire, the motorcycle company told a Texas federal court, saying it is entitled to coverage as an additional insured under a product manufacturer's policy.
