The Federal Circuit on Wednesday shot down Apple's request to force U.S. District Judge Alan Albright of Texas to send a suit accusing the technology giant of infringing a patent on 5G technology to California, rejecting Apple's arguments that the analysis behind the denial was incorrect.

U.S. District Judge Alan D. Albright has determined Apple Inc. can't escape a technology licensing company's patent suit alleging some Apple devices infringe on its own 5G technology, saying the claims are specific enough to move forward at this stage.
