Two insurers agreed to settle a dispute in Massachusetts federal court over coverage for a touring production of "Cats" at a Rhode Island theater where an employee was severely injured by set equipment.

A Rhode Island theater's insurer is obligated to cover the touring production of "Cats" as an additional insured in an underlying personal injury suit, a Hartford unit told a Massachusetts federal court Tuesday, arguing that its policy is excess over any other available insurance.
