Liberty Mutual does not have to provide coverage to Paraco Gas Corp. and its executives in a family shareholder dispute, a New York federal judge ruled Thursday, agreeing with the insurer that a contract exclusion provision in the policy bars coverage.

Paraco Gas Corp. said a Liberty Mutual unit must cover the company and its executives for what they spent to defend and settle a family shareholder dispute, telling a New York federal court that the insurer is breaching the terms of a directors and officers policy.
