'Concerning Error' Dooms SEC Case Against Zicam Inventor
A California federal judge has dismissed a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission suit against the inventor of Zicam cold medicine over an alleged scheme to con investors in a bogus movie studio, saying the agency made a "concerning error" when it omitted that he'd been declared mentally incompetent to understand parallel criminal charges.

Zicam Inventor Charged With 'I Love Lucy' TV Co. Scam
A California federal grand jury indicted the inventor of the cold remedy Zicam on wire fraud charges Wednesday, alleging he created a bogus "Desilu Studios" that played on the name of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's famous Hollywood production company to con investors into giving him hundreds of thousands of dollars that he used for personal expenses.
