An insurer and an engineering company notified a California federal court that both sides have agreed to dismiss a coverage dispute of an underlying action accusing the company of negligently causing the electrocution of a technician.

Admiral Insurance shouldn't have to cover an engineering company accused of negligently causing the electrocution of a technician, the company told a California federal court, saying the underlying suit was filed in 2018 but the insurer didn't receive notice of the claim until 2021.
