Attorneys on Monday asked a Wisconsin federal judge to approve their request for a nearly 35% portion of a $12.25 million settlement of a suit against Advocate Aurora Health for disclosing private health information to Google and Facebook.

Advocate Aurora Health will pay $12.25 million to resolve class claims that it shares users' private information without consent to third parties like Meta and Google through a tracking pixel embedded on its website, app and patient portal, according to a preliminary approval bid filed in Wisconsin federal court.
