Coachella's organizers have settled a lawsuit alleging that cannabis company Coachillin Holdings had infringed on the California music festival's trademarks by adopting as its name a common hashtag associated with the festival for years.

The organizers of Coachella are suing Coachillin' Holdings LLC and several associated businesses, saying the companies are piggybacking on a common hashtag and expression associated with the music festival and infringing on the festival's trademarks.
