Four Seasons Hotels has asked the Second Circuit to upend a lower court decision ordering it and two hotel owners to follow arbitration rules in their original management agreements if they continue to fail to choose an arbitrator in a dispute over the luxury brand's alleged contractual and fiduciary breaches.

The owners of two Four Seasons hotels in New York and California have asked a federal judge to intervene in a dispute with Four Seasons Hotels Ltd. over its purported mismanagement of the hotels, saying they've been fighting for more than five months over which arbitrators to pick.
