A California federal judge on Tuesday trimmed fraud and misrepresentation claims from a Golden State cannabis company's lawsuit accusing Baltimore-based Constellation NewEnergy of backing out of a multimillion-dollar financing deal.

Baltimore-based Constellation NewEnergy has pulled into federal court a $30 million suit accusing it of promising a California cannabis company more than $15 million in financing before failing to come through.
