3rd Circ. Asks Lower Court To Clarify Amazon Arbitral Ruling
The Third Circuit said a New Jersey federal court should clarify how it decided the fate of an Amazon driver's suit claiming the company misclassified workers as independent contractors, sending the case back to the lower court for it to specify whether it dismissed or stayed the case pending arbitration.

A New Jersey federal court didn't simply send into arbitration a suit claiming Amazon misclassified workers as independent contractors, but it also dismissed the lawsuit, a worker told the Third Circuit, saying the ruling is therefore final and appealable.
