A Texas federal judge has shipped to California a suit in which a mobile commerce company is suing Visa Inc. for patent infringement, saying various factors weighed in favor of transferring the case.

A mobile commerce company suing Visa Inc. for patent infringement told a Texas federal judge that Visa has a significant number of employees in Austin working on its allegedly infringing Visa Token Service for digital payments, fighting Visa's bid to move the suit to California.
