Wausau Homes has asked a Missouri federal judge to let it arbitrate a lawsuit against it by a couple claiming the company and one of its subcontractors failed to meet construction deadlines as promised, arguing that the contract has an arbitration clause.

A Missouri couple filed a class action against Wausau Homes and Phillips Builders after they hired the companies to build a custom home in November 2020 that is still not complete, accusing Wausau of negligence and fraud for construction delays, defects and increasing costs.
