A Michigan-based auto sales company has reached a settlement with an Italian auto parts maker the company alleges owes $6 million in commissions for building the foreign business' relationship with General Motors.

An Italian automotive parts maker says a Michigan-based company can't seek $6 million for commissions allegedly owed for building its relationship with General Motors, saying it terminated the company for working with a competitor, and with it its commission rights.
