CNA Insurance and Massachusetts-based Arbella Insurance Group have settled their warehouse fire coverage suit against a cold storage contractor, bringing an end to their bid to recover more than $12 million in coverage payouts.

CNA Insurance is seeking to recover more than $12 million from contractor Controlled Environment Systems LLC over a July 2020 warehouse fire the insurer said was caused by smoking employees, according to a complaint filed Friday in Massachusetts federal court.
