The Commodity Futures Trading Commission Wednesday announced a New York federal court had entered an order resolving fraud charges against the former chief engineer of defunct cryptocurrency investment platform FTX.

Former FTX Trading Ltd. engineering director Nishad Singh on Tuesday copped to fraud, conspiracy and campaign finance violations related to the fall of the crypto exchange as federal prosecutors gained a third cooperator in their case against FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.
