An insurance company owner has asked an Ohio federal judge to let him out of a trademark infringement and unfair competition case alleging that he and his company abused the Google Ads system to snipe a competitor's customers, arguing that he cannot be personally held liable for his agency's alleged actions.

Insurance King Agency Inc. took an insurance agent and his company to Ohio federal court claiming they put "insurance king" in their search terms with Google Adwords to dupe potential Insurance King customers into giving them their business instead.
