Monster Energy Co. and the Toledo shawarma restaurant it accused of ripping off its trademarks in part by using the same white font for the word "monster" on its "Monster Shawarma" sign have reached an agreement to resolve the energy drink maker's intellectual property infringement and unfair competition claims.

Monster Energy Co. took Toledo restaurant Monster Shawarma to Ohio federal court claiming it ripped off the drink maker's trademarks by, among other things, using the same custom white font for the word "monster" in its marketing materials.
