An Ohio federal judge won't pause efforts to clean up after the Norfolk Southern derailment and fire in East Palestine, despite a request Wednesday from a trackside business for more time to take samples from the soil and storm drains.

Three Ohio factories are suing Norfolk Southern Corp. for the February train derailment that occurred adjacent to their property, saying the accident has resulted in employees being unable to return to work because of contamination, which has in turn caused production lines to shut down.
