A jewelry store's property insurer owes no coverage over claims for rainstorm damage, a Michigan federal court ruled Thursday, finding an exclusion barring coverage from water overflow due to floods was applicable.

National Fire Insurance Co. of Hartford on Thursday removed to federal court a Michigan jeweler's rain damage lawsuit, which accused the CNA unit of wrongfully denying full payment over what the insurer said was misrepresented evidence.
