The Patent Trial and Appeal Board has found claims in a patent owned by AbbVie's Pharmacyclics unit related to its cancer drug Imbruvica were invalid, the latest in a larger intellectual property fight with BeiGene.

AbbVie's Pharmacyclics unit has alleged in a new suit that its recently issued patent relating to its cancer drug Imbruvica is being infringed by a BeiGene product that got approval from federal regulators earlier this year.
