Hyundai Drivers Can't Pursue Tow Defect On A National Basis
Hyundai SUV drivers from seven states cannot pursue nationwide class claims of unjust enrichment against the automaker related to a defect with their vehicles' towing components, a California federal judge ruled, but he largely kept the suit's claims intact.

Hyundai Palisade SUV owners sued the South Korean carmaker's American counterpart Wednesday over faulty tow wiring that can catch fire on tens of thousands of recent-model vehicles, saying they are still waiting on a permanent fix almost a year after the company issued a recall notice.
