A DoorDash driver's automobile policy does not provide coverage for injury claims asserted by a pedestrian who was struck by the driver while completing a food delivery, an Allstate unit told a Florida federal court in an amended suit Friday.

Allstate told a Florida federal court that an automobile policy it issued doesn't cover a driver for an underlying lawsuit brought by a pedestrian he hit, saying because the driver was delivering for DoorDash when the accident occurred, the incident is excluded from coverage.
