Amazon Says Worker Can't Sue Over Unpaid Screening Time
Amazon urged a New Mexico federal court to dismiss a proposed class action alleging the e-commerce giant failed to pay workers for mandatory COVID-19 and security screenings, saying the ex-worker behind the suit did not work for Amazon while the screening policies were in place.

Amazon was again accused of instituting an unlawful policy requiring workers to undergo COVID-19 screenings prior to clocking in and security screenings before leaving without paying them for that time in a proposed class action filed Tuesday in New Mexico federal court.
