A Boston federal judge on Friday dismissed a proposed investor class action against biotech Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc., ruling that the lawsuit's facts tend to support innocent explanations for executives' statements about its two drug prospects.

Massachusetts-based biotechnology company Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc. was hit with a proposed class action Monday by investors who claim the company and its top executives made false and misleading statements about a cancer treatment in development, causing damage to investors when the drug's revealed ineffectiveness tanked Aldeyra's stock price.
