Investment Advisers Say Client Theft Claims Are Unsupported
Two former investment advisers of a Key Bank affiliate shot back on Friday at a suit accusing them of stealing trade secrets and clients, arguing that the claims should be dismissed because, among other things, customer contact lists and publicly available information are not trade secrets.

Investment Advisers Sued Over Alleged 'Theft' Of Clients
KeyBank affiliate Key Investment Services LLC has filed suit against two of its former investment advisers alleging they stole trade secrets and violated their employment agreements by soliciting customers to transfer their accounts to a newly formed rival company they left to work for in June 2023.
